With a dog on my lap. . .top?

Hello to everybody that might run into this! It's intended for a select few, but I'm open to anybody willing to read it and put their two cents in. I'm definitely not a serious blogger by any sense of the meaning, but I'm tired of the MySpace hootenanny but still want some space to put some words, especially when I'm not in the mood to vocalize what's on my mind. Not vocalize in the sense that I'd like to turn my life into "High School Musical: 10 Year Reunion", but just an out to give myself a ummmmm, public journal?

I'm frustrated about vacations right now. . .Who in there right mind would be frustrated about setting up vacation time? Me. Not because I hate paid time off, in fact, I rather adore it! It's the fact that I have to attempt to figure out my whole vacation/time off schedule for the year, before the end of February. . .Lame! I've got a bunch of things I want to get lined up, It's just a matter of choosing. . .Do I want to go on a cruise with some of my buddies? Do I want to just use some of my frequent flying miles and escape with Sarah for a little while? I don't know, but I feel like I'm being pressured into making that decision much sooner than I would like to! Throw in some random road trips and hosting some people visiting me potentially, I've got a slew of possibilities that can't possibly be mapped out yet! Grrr. . .

I'm happy about life, though. Things are going well, the job I have currently, although not perfect, does pay the bills and does have plenty of opportunity to advance. . .Who am I kidding though, I immensely miss waiting tables and could be making just as much money, if not more, working about 10 - 15 fewer hours per week. . .Think about it! I do miss some of my friends who I haven't seen for quite some time, namely, Alex & Beth, Amanda & Jose, and Nicole R. . .The latter couple and Nicole, we need to get together for lunch or something, sometime soon! AnB it's not quite as easy, but I totally look forward to seeing you come March!!

I truly hope all is well with my friends, old and new, and if there is anything that any of you need, don't be afraid to contact me. At the very least I've got a couple of ears that are willing to listen for you. . .Take is easy and maybe I'll do this again soon!
